Uzone.id – New AI chatbot models are constantly emerging. AI chatbots themselves are computer software designed to mimic human conversations using natural language processing (NLP or Natural Language Processing).
Through the AI chatbot, users can ask questions and the chatbot will formulate the right response. Another advantage is that the AI model allows the chatbot to continue to learn from every interaction from the user so that the answers given will be more natural.
Of the many AI chatbots that have emerged, here are the some most used AI chatbots based on data released by Market Share.
The birth of ChatGPT has prompted other tech companies to create their own AI chatbots. This chatbot is the first chatbot to start the AI trend. As of February 2025, ChatGPT will have 1.63 billion visits with 180.5 million users.
In general, ChatGPT can be used to help with homework, summarize complex texts, personalize content, and analyze data. In addition, ChatGPT has also used DALL-E which allows this chatbot to generate images only from text commands.
Another advantage, without the need to install an application, ChatGPT can be accessed immediately. This AI chatbot can also write, improve, and explain code in a variety of programming languages. Also, it can provide all relevant answers in seconds.
Microsoft Copilot
Bing Chat, which later changed its name to Microsoft Copilot, does look like an AI chatbot in general. However, there are several other advantages that make Microsoft Copilot different. First of all, Copilot is built with the latest large language model so that it has high performance in natural language understanding and management.
Also, Microsoft Copilot integrates with Microsoft products like Word, Excel, and Teams so that users can connect to increase productivity. In addition, because it is a Microsoft product, of course, this copilot has strict privacy and security standards.
Gemini
Gemini is an AI chatbot developed by Google. Through Gemini, it is expected to become a versatile multimodal AI model so that it can be used in various applications, ranging from virtual assistants, search engines, to social media platforms.
Gemini’s main advantage is its ability to understand and create various types of content, ranging from text, images, audio, and video. Gemini has also been developed to create a more natural and intuitive interaction experience.
And, similar to Microsoft Copilot, because it is a Google project, Gemini also integrates with other Google services and products. Includes Search, Maps, and an Assistant that allows users to solve complex problems, make predictions, and provide deeper explanations.
Perplexity
Perplexity was developed by Perplexity AI, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California. The chatbot built by Aravind Srinivas, Johnny Ho, Andy Konwinski, and Denis Yarats is designed to be able to quickly filter information, as well as compile relevant answers.
Key features in Perplexity include real-time information retrieval, citation tracking, and integration with various data sources. Using NLP and machine learning, Perplexity will interpret the intent behind the user’s questions and retrieve the most relevant information.
To make the answers more reliable, Perplexity will include quotes and sources that users can access directly.
Claude AI
Claude AI uses a Large Language Model (LLM) model that allows users to have conversations like those of ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Not only that, Claude AI can also read and summarize documents, generate text as users want, and create visual illustrations.
Claude AI provides both free and paid versions. For the paid version, Claude AI sets prices starting at $20 per month or around IDR 328,576. With a subscription, users will have access to use more models, including to Claude 3 Opus to get early access if Claude AI releases new features.
Unfortunately, this chatbot developed by Anthropic has several drawbacks. First, Claude AI does not have direct access to the internet, so it is less reliable in providing up-to-date information. In addition, this chatbot does not have the flexibility to process the code directly.
